Converting London time to Tokyo time
Set London as the reference city, then enter the local date and time of your event. The second row shows the corresponding time and date in Tokyo. Use the reference selector to convert in the other direction.
Why the date matters
London uses Greenwich Mean Time (UTC+0) in winter and British Summer Time (UTC+1) in summer. Select the actual date of your event to account for clock changes, particularly when comparing with North America.
Tokyo follows Japan Standard Time, UTC+9, throughout the year. Japan does not currently observe daylight saving time. The difference from cities that change their clocks can still vary by season.

These examples compare the same instant (12:00 UTC) on two dates. They are examples, not a fixed year-round time difference.
